Aha, got ya So 350MHz increase yields only 0.35 DX11 Marks more, right?

i suggest you install prime on your machine during benching as the CPU temps dip below ambient when you fire the bench up

I had a system running with ye old P55-UD6 and a GTX48. I did notice some scaling from 3G to 4.3G CPU ... but not that much.

Think it can match a 980x? Lost another yesterday.. wasn't a good chip anyway

down to a 5 core 980x and really crappy chip..... Ill have to play around... since Dinos2 wont give me the silver platter... maybe a bronze platter?

This benchmark is almost VGA-only (give and take the architectural disadvantages sometimes). It's not like Vantage ...

can you please clarify for the crowds what HWBOT's official stance is towards Unigine benchmark and gain that some overclockers are getting from downclocking bclock and PCie?

What you wanna ban down clocking? That's pretty silly...if a bench does better on certain settings so be it, you just gotta find out the sweet spots for your rig.

In Taipei I was just contemplating on the topic of downclocking being beneficial and whether that's just part of the game or a big flaw in the software.

Since I'm back in the office, I can finally run the tests myself. This weekend that is.

I could say that the DX11 Heaven benchmark, apart from drivers and 3D clocks, likes the L3! have you also seen that?

I used a X2 250 and X2 550 and i saw a 5% difference!

Moreover i see that it is the only benchmark that you don't need to have an INTEL system

I didn't know I had to save a validation file (doh!)....so I'll just put these here.
