View Full Version : Intel sent CPU's
I've been seeing alot of people receiving CPUs from Intel (Confidential CPUs?)
I just wanna ask:
Do you guys ASK for the CPU's (if so how, and what is needed to get one)
Or do they simply send you one cuz you got a high reputation?
high profile OCers will get them from Intel PR to push/publish interest the community. Intel has regional offices, some PR folk are more "giving" then others;)
I called the local Intel contact once and asked for em - been getting bits and pieces ever since :)

Not all Intel offices are so friendly.
Some may require a review or any publicity to back up sending of CPU.
im curious... has anyone ever burnt intel sent cpu and what were the consequences

Usually they get some publicity along with it tho :nana:
K so ill trie sending them an email.
Tough im kinda confused. What should i tell/ask them, and what arguments should i give
xT0m you said you where getting bits and pieces ever since (explain?) do they send you stuff they dont need, or faulty ones?
Well, not me as a person but Team Denmark in this case.
If Intel are happy with the results, its usually stuff to keep.

I tought so :)
Anyways i check the Portugues Intel website, and they dont even have a phone number / email adress there, for the national offices
I've never seen, heard of or signed such a letter tho.
i guess it hard to burn it unless someone is pushing to far... i guess that first are problems with stability than if someone pushes it dies rite?
xt0m, at least that's how it works in the Baltics ;)
I don't doubt ya, m8 :)
Just sayin' I've never been uh "served" processors in that manor :P
