I've been seeing alot of people receiving CPUs from Intel (Confidential CPUs?)

I just wanna ask:

Do you guys ASK for the CPU's (if so how, and what is needed to get one)

Or do they simply send you one cuz you got a high reputation?

high profile OCers will get them from Intel PR to push/publish interest the community. Intel has regional offices, some PR folk are more "giving" then others;)

Not all Intel offices are so friendly.
Some may require a review or any publicity to back up sending of CPU.

Well, not me as a person but Team Denmark in this case.
If Intel are happy with the results, its usually stuff to keep.

im curious... has anyone ever burnt intel sent cpu and what were the consequencesbefore recieving the CPU you need to sign a warranty letter saying that if CPU dies - you will compensate it's price to Intel

i guess it hard to burn it unless someone is pushing to far... i guess that first are problems with stability than if someone pushes it dies rite?
