View Full Version : HWBoint Bonus for quadfectas/quinfectas?
Basically as title, what ya think?
Makes ppl push that bit harder, might also make ppl submit more results/take more benches more seriously :)

neat idea ... is it doable Richba5tard?

So giving even more boints for people that have the first place in four or more rankings?? I guess this would only apply to OPB atm, and he already has almost twice as many boints as the second. I don't see how this would motivate others.
If we do this, we also need to check which vga's can run which kind of 3D benches. A gf1 won't run 3DMark05/06, so you'll never have a quadfecta
hmm...ok so this would be for hw categories. Could be nice i guess.
Adding different rules for different hw (like for gf1 as above) would make things unnecessary complicated.
I meant more for graphics benching, if someone has all 4 3DM No.1 spots for their card (be it single or dual) (also 3D07 and AM3 to consider)
Not many ppl bench the cards that cant run all the benches anyway.
There arent many quinfectas from what iv seen.
:)

If this could be implented, we should go a little further than 3DM's.
GPU: 3dm01, 3dm03, 3dm05, 3dm06, am3
CPU: Spi 1M, Spi 32M, Cpu-z, Wp32M, Wp1024M
you want to award somebody with a fast rig more because he runs several benchmarks? don't they get enough hwboints for being first of many? I don't think giving them another extra +++ hwboints for being first with different benchies is a good idea to spice up competition;
If opinions are mixed, then it probs aint the worlds bestestest idea :)
Damn...I was on a roll of having good ideas recently :P
Fresh ideas are always very welcome. :)
