1. General rules

  • Submission verification must be according to the HWBOT rules which can be found here or on the bottom of this page.

  • We expect everyone to play fair, whoever cheats in this competition gets banned from HWBOT.
  • This is not a software tuning competition, but an overclocking competition. Any special software tweaks must be explained to the HWBOT staff during the competition and will be published on HWBOT afterwards. The HWBOT staff reserves the right to remove any result for any reason.
  • Retail hardware only. Hardware must be available for purchase at the beginning of this competition. Pre-order is not okay.

2. Benchmark verification

  • CPU-Z verification method

    1. Verification form: ‘http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=775866′
    2. HWBOT nickname has to match nickname in verification link
    3. Only latest version of CPU-Z is allowed
    4. A picture of the system must be attached to the submission

  • SuperPI 32M verification method

    1. Verification form: 32m.png(click to enlarge)
    2. Following CPU-Z tabs have to be included in the screenshot (as indicated in RED in the screenshot)
      1. CPU information tab
      2. Mainboard information tab
      3. Memory information tab
    3. Only latest version of CPU-Z is allowed
    4. Following information must be visible regarding the SuperPI 32M score
      1. SuperPI version (must be V1.5 or V1.6)
      2. Complete calculation loops
      3. Result score
      4. Checksum
      5. ‘PI calculation is done!’-window
    5. A picture of the system must be attached to the submission

  • Wprime 32M verification method

    1. Verification form: wprime.png(click to enlarge)
    2. Following CPU-Z tabs have to be included in the screenshot (as indicated in RED in the screenshot)
      1. CPU information tab
      2. Mainboard information tab
      3. Memory information tab
    3. Only latest version of CPU-Z is allowed
    4. Following information must be visible regarding the Wprime 32M score
      1. Wprime version (V1.55 only!)
      2. Full application
      3. Result score
    5. A picture of the system must be attached to the submission

3. How to submit a result

  1. Click the ’submit score’ in identification field of your profile. submit.png(click to enlarge)
  2. Choose the MSI competition from the list of competitions. comp.png(click to enlarge)
  3. Choose the benchmark stage (CPU-Z, SuperPI 32M or Wprime 32M). stage.png(click to enlarge)
