Description

Bringing back another old-school benchmark to have fun with in our spare time: Aquamark V2.1, the predecessor of the benchmark we all know and love AquaMark3.

Just download the AquaMark V2.1 installer, install the benchmark and run at default benchmark settings. The same rules as for AquaMark3 apply.

Have fun with this legacy benchmark !!

To be able to provide this kind of service we have tried to design some submission and general rules to help remove any doubts about whether something is allowed or not. Based on continued experience these rules will be updated, expanded and completed as time goes by. Please check back for any updates.

This is an online event. Participants can compete from all around the world, and make submissions online.

As this is an official level competition, competitors will receive season points for the final ranking as following.

Does some now an fix for that (and don`t say use vista Or win7)

Edit found the error (197.75 didn`t work , but 275.33 does the job very well )

Does this mean the old aquamark will be retired? I cant see a similar score in this window anywhere, only average FPS perhaps?

I have the same issue. At first thought I did something wrong but after 2 days of trying with the same error in the AGP Stage only I figure something is wrong.

AM3. I don't see how the scores are comparable, the test seems different, and the avg. FPS must be multiplied by 1000 to get an AM3-like score, and even then you miss the two last digits because of rounding in the avg. FPS result.

But perhaps i got it all wrong, and this is in addition to the old AM3, and not a future replacement?

aquamark 2.1 is the predecessor of aquamark 3. (the one we have since ages on hwbot.

it's like 3dmark99 is the predecessor of 3dmark00,....

aquamark2.1 is a completely different benchmark compared to aquamark3.

Still getting errors here and I thought my Voodoo submission was going to go straight to the top!

for igp-stage: are cpu-integrated gpus allowed? i hope not, because in that case there will only be sandybridge with hd3000 and no competition between chipset-graphics. that might be boring. the sandy with highest clocks wins automaticly.
